As it is known, The Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on additional measures for the improvement of lawyer profession, dated 22 February 2018 ", provides important matters for the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, emphasizes the importance of legal practice in constitutional state, promoting the activities of lawyers in the regions in order to ensure the functioning of the law offices in the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and providing citizens with high quality legal assistance.

In this regard, the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan has prepared a plan of action for necessary works and these works are currently underway.

To ensure the right of citizens to receive high-quality legal assistance in the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to improve the logistical state of law offices operating in cities and regions of the country, in order to ensure access to legal assistance, including the protection of human rights and freedoms, number of measures are being taken.

As a continuation of these measures, two new law offices in two regions of our country – Mingachevir city and Agjabadi district – have started to operate recently. These law offices have already been given to the service of our citizens living in these regions to provide them with high-quality legal assistance.

Moreover, in past months 4 new law offices – Law Office № 18 of Baku City, “BHM and Partners” Law Office, “Adalet” Law Office and Law Office of Khirdalan City have started to operate in Baku and Khirdalan. In 13 law offices relevant amendments in the charter of the organization were made and the name of "legal advice center" was renamed to "law office".
