The winner of the III Advocate Football League has been announced

The 3rd Advocate Football League (VFL) among the members of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan has ended.
 
The 3rd VFL tournament, which started in April, is dedicated to the historic victory of the Azerbaijani Army and people in Karabakh.
 
The participating teams added historical toponyms related to the Karabakh war to their traditional names. Thus, “Advokat-Khankendi” VFC, “Absheron-Shusha” VFC, “Barrister-Jabrayil” VFC, “Adalat-Agdam” VFC, “Kapaz-Murov” VFC, “Lawyers-Argunash” VFC, “Inter-Lachin” VFK, Sumgayit Regional-Gubadli VFC and Veterans-Khudaferin VFC participated.
 
In total, 96 amateur players, including 86 lawyers and 10 lawyers, joined the VFL.
 
The last round of the competition, which was held in the format of a one-round championship consisting of 9 rounds, took place today. The first champion of Azerbaijan Advocate Football "Advokat-Khankendi" became the winner of the 3rd VFL. The team won all 8 games in the league.
 
Barrister Jabrayil took the second place, and Adalat Agdam took the third place.
 
The top scorer of the tournament is Ismayil Babayev, a young lawyer from Advokat-Khankendi with 16 goals. According to the results of voting among participants, coaches and members of the VFL Secretariat, Babayev also won the title of "Best Player" of the tournament.
 
Another member of Advokat-Khankendi, Jeyhun Bayramov, was the best goalkeeper in the VFL. He scored 7 goals in 8 games.
 
At the end, a closing and awarding ceremony was held at the Sportster Arena, where the competition was held, attended by the leadership of the VC, AFFA representatives and tournament participants, led by Anar Bagirov.
 
Elchin Usub, a member of the Presidium of the Bar Association and the football coordinator of the Bar Association, told Report: “Our tournament is an internal championship of the Bar Association. This is the third time we are holding this competition. We dedicated the VFL to the historic victory of the Azerbaijani Army and people in Karabakh. The teams added certain toponyms related to Karabakh to their traditional names. The competition started on April 3. There were only 9 rounds, and the last round took place today.
 
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between VK and Baku State University, the football team of the Law Faculty of BSU participated in the tournament "out of competition" and held friendly matches with a number of teams participating in the VFL. Although these games did not affect the final schedule, they increased the interest of young lawyers in the legal profession.
 
The tournament, organized in cooperation with AFFA, is managed by judges appointed by the association. All players in the tournament are registered with AFFA as amateur players.
The VFL was held in accordance with the requirements of the ongoing quarantine regime in the country and the recommendations of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, without spectators and in compliance with all medical conditions.
