An international symposium titled "Fight Against the Third Rebellion against the State and July the 15th", organized jointly by the International Lawyers Association, the Turkish Legal Platform, the Constitutional Lawyers Association, the Turkish Justice Academy and the Istanbul University have been held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Lectures were held on topics as "The reasons behind the failure or success of the rebellion against the state", "foreign political influences behind the uprisings", "hopes of democratization in the Islamic world", "revolutions", "elimination of rebellion" and so on.
It should be noted that Chairman of the Bar Association of Azerbaijan Anar Baghirov, Chairman of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynli, Chairman of the Lawyers Disciplinary Commission Shakhmar Mammadov, Deputy Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency Nadir Adilov, member of the Bar Association Aygun Aliyeva, a number of organizations and media representatives were invited to the event. At the event speeches were given and important questions were explained by high level officials of the Republic of Turkey - Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdagh, Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gul, as well as Istanbul University Rector Prof. Mahmut Akin and other representatives of Turkish intellectuals.
At the event, the audience warmly welcomed the presentation of Ali Huseynli, Chairman of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building of the Milli Majlis on "July 15 th as part of the geopolitical tension in the region."
In addition, bilateral meetings were held with Chairman of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Anar Baghirov and Turkish Law Platform Attorney, Ahmet Akcan, Chairman of the International Union of Lawyers, lawyer Necati Ceylan and the importance of mutual exchange of experience between Turkey and Azerbaijan within the framework of cooperation with Turkish Bar Association was highlighted at the meetings. Also views were exchanged on prospects for expanding cooperation.
