From March 6th to 8th, 2024, an international
conference titled "Legal professions in the environment of modern digital
transformations. Challenges and dilemmas" was held in the city of Lublin,
Poland, organized by the European Association of Lawyers (AEA-EAL) and the
Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University.
The event was attended by members of AEA-EAL, lawyers
and legal scholars from France, Italy, Spain, Poland, and other countries.
The representative from the Azerbaijani Bar
Association, Mr Ilham Huseynov, a member of the ABA's Electronic Advocacy and
Business Law Committees, as well as AEA-EAL's New Technologies Committee,
participated in the conference and delivered a comprehensive presentation on
"The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Regulation of Financial
Liabilities in International Law".
Moreover, within the framework of the event, Mr Ilham
Huseynov held meetings with Ms Maria Ślązak, President of AEA-EAL, Dr Arkadiusz
Bereza, Vice-Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Mr Prashant Kumar,
President of the Bar Association of India, and Marzena Świstak, professor at
Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, to discuss matters of mutual collaboration.
