As it is known, one of the decisions made at the meeting of the Presidium of the Bar Association on 25.07.2018 was to provide the population with free-legal aid by the law offices in Baku and other regions and cities of the Republic on July 30th - "The Day of Profession of Lawyers of the Republic of Azerbaijan". With regard to the execution of the decision, the Presidium of the Bar Association informed all law offices of the country to provide relevant legal aid and ordered to report the results to the Presidium.

Thus, it should be noted that on July 30, 2018, 26 claims were filed to the courts in frame of the provision of free legal aid of Baku, 8 inquiries were sent to relevant bodies and 213 legal advices were given. In respect of other regions of our country, 32 claims and 3 inquiries were filed and 167 individuals were given verbal advice.

A total of 58 claims, 11 inquiries were filed across the country and 380 verbal advises were given to the individuals.

It should be noted that the “Yusifbayli and partners” Law Office ranked on the first palce üith regard to the provision of the free legal services among the law offices that are in Baku. Thus, the mentioned law office filed 5 inquiries, 6 claims and 32 individuals were given verbal advice.

Highest number of legal services provided among the law offices in other regions was by the Sumgait City Law Office. Thus, 8 individuals filed a claim against the courts and 22 individuals received verbal advice.

The Presidium of the Bar Association notes that in the future, such social campaigns will be organized on the professional holiday of lawyers.
