A meeting was held at the Azerbaijani Bar Assosicion (ABA) with the representative of the Election Observation Mission (EOM) of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Branislav Solovic - legal analyst of this institution, who is on a visit in connection with the snap elections to the Milli Majlis on September 1.

Welcoming the guests, Chairman Anar Bagirov gave detailed information about ABA's activities in recent years, the accomplished progress, described the projects implemented jointly with various local and international organizations, and noted that a lot of useful cooperation has been established.

During the meeting ABA's Secretary General Orkhan Babayev made a presentation and shared report on the periodic work progress, spoke about ABA's role in engaging lawyers in continuing education, free legal aid provided to the vulnerable, actions in the field of student support, as well as international and local engagements.

Then Legal Analyst of EOM Branislav Solovic provided information about the objectives and activities of the Mission and emphasized the importance of his visits to Azerbaijan and the meetings helds.

At the same time, a number of other mutual interest matters were discussed at the meeting, and the the guest's questions were clarified.
