Today, Mr Ranko Pelicaric, Deputy Chairman of Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) has visited the Board of the Bar Association. The guest was welcomed by Mr Anar Baghirov, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Bar Association and by the deputy chairmen Mr Aydın Akhundov and Mr Parviz Alakbarov.

During the meeting, the guest was informed about the incorporation of the regulation on rules of conduct for Azerbaijani lawyers based upon the Code of conduct for European lawyers, as well as the prospects of our country's membership in the CCB in future was discussed. Exchange of views on other topics was also done during the meeting.

At the same time, the guest was informed about the work recently done in the area of lawyer profession by the Bar Association.
