Toghrul Guluzade, a member of the Azerbaijan Bar Association and Director of the Legal Department at AZCON Holding, has successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at Leiden University in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and has been awarded a Doctor of Laws (PhD) degree in the fields of Corporate Law, International Investment Law, and Arbitration Law.

The scholar’s fundamental research entitled “The Right of Shareholders (Investors) to Bring Claims for Reflective Loss in Corporate and International Investment Law” has been published in book form.

The book was published in English by Boom Juridisch, a publishing house based in The Hague, as part of the Business and Law Research Network series of the Institute of Corporate Law (Private Law) of Leiden University’s Faculty of Law.

The publication is currently available in both electronic and print formats through Leiden University’s official website, the Faculty of Law Library, the Amazon platform, and other leading academic sources across Europe.

It is noted that this achievement represents a significant contribution to Azerbaijani legal scholarship and international legal research, while also opening new perspectives in the fields of corporate law, investment law, and arbitration law.
