Within the Action Plan of the Regional Program for Promoting Legal Approach to European Standards in the South Caucasus, the German International Cooperation Society (GIZ) will hold series of seminars for lawyers within the framework of cooperation with the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2019.

Taking this into account, following seminars are planned to take place: On 12.06.2019, "Fundamentals of Banking Law", on 14.06.2019, "Recent Amendments to Tax Code (Legal and Economic)" and on 05.07.2019 "Verification of various types of claims in the administrative process"

On 12.06.2019 the member of the Bar Association Akram Hasanov, on 14.06.2019, Member of the Bar Association of Azerbaijan Republic, Siraj Piriyev and on 05.07.2019 Judge of the Baku Appeal Court Rafael Eyvazov and member of the Bar Association Elchin Usub is expected to give a speech.

Places to participate in the training are limited. Lawyers who wish to attend the training may send a letter of intent (stating the exact name of the training) to the employee of the office of the Bar Association Mr Orkhan Babayev's email address (orkhan.babayev@barassociation.az).

Note: Additional information on the location of the training will be provided. It should be taken into consideration that the lawyers who have not received a response about training are not selected to attend the seminar. These lawyers will be preferred when choosing to participate in future seminars.
