Today, the next meeting of the Presidium of the Bar Association was held. Opening the meeting, Chairman of the Bar Association Mr. Anar Bagirov briefed the participants on the current activities of the Presidium, the verbal stage of the qualification examinations for acceptance to the legal profession and the course of compulsory training of candidates for the legal profession, as well as the preparations for the 100th anniversary of the legal profession in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, issues related to the transfer of lawyers to other law offices and the awarding of several lawyers were considered, also shift list of individual lawyers and lawyers working in the law offices of Baku and other regions for the month of June were approved.
Moreover, the issue of admission of the candidates to the membership of the Bar Association, who had successfully passed the verbal stage of the exam, and the admission of ex-judges who now want to be a lawyer was passed and a positive decision was adopted for those persons.

At the meeting, a positive decision was made on the establishment of the "Ekrem Hasanov and Partners" Law Office, including the draft Regulation on "Payment of non-cash fees for legal services by an applicant". At the same time a number of disciplinary issues were considered and appropriate decisions were made.

In the end, other issues of importance to the Bar Association's activities were considered.
