Today, after the maintenance the management of the Azerbaijani Bar Association visited the premises of the Law Office No 6 of Baku.
Mr. Elkhan Aslanov, head of the Law Office No 6 informed Mr. Anar Baghirov, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Bar Association, and other members of the Board with the work carried out in the office. It has been noted that, the necessary condition was ensured for the lawyers and confidential meeting rooms are fully operating in the new building. It was reported that the office has been fully equipped with modern computers and other types of equipment.
It should be noted that in accordance with the the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 22.02.2018 "On Additional Measures for the Advancement of Legal Profession in the Republic of Azerbaijan", at the expense of funds allocated from the state budget to the Azerbaijani Bar Association 15,997 manats, including VAT was spent to fully provide the office with furniture, printer and computer equipments.
In addition, with the initiative of the Board, 9365.30 manats, which were supposed to be paid by the lawyers of Law Office No6 to the Azerbaijani Bar Association as membership fees for February-April 2019, were spent on the repair of the administrative building of the office.
Mr. Baghirov the chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijani Bar Association highly appreciated the repair work done at the Office and emphasized the importance of providing lawyers with the highest standards of work conditions and places of work for the provision of high-quality and professional legal assistance to the citizens and informed about the work done to improve the material and technical status of all law offices operating in the Azerbaijan.
In addition, a meeting was held with the participation of lawyers working in the office. The leadership of the Board listened to the problems of lawyers faced during the professional activities and also suggestions of lawyers and informed them about the recent actions taken by the Board of the Azerbaijani Bar Association. The concerns of the meeting participants were also responded.
