Following a major reconstruction, today the management of the Azerbaijani Bar Association got acquainted with the administrative building of the Center Law Office of Baku.

Mr.Elchin Gambarov, the head of the Center Law Office informed Mr.Anar Bagirov the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Bar Association about the work done at the office and noted that the office is fully equipped with necessary materials, furniture and, machinery.

Taking into account that the reconstruction works are carried out at the expense of public funds, the Board of the Bar Association has appealed to the Pricing in Construction Center of The State Agency for Supervision of Construction Safety under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan to determine the amount of renovation works.

Although according to reports provided by the Pricing in Construction Center repair works at the administrative building amounted to 31,311.68 manats including VAT but in order to spend funds which were allocated to the Azerbaijani Bar Association in accordance with the Presidential Decree of 22.02.2018 "On Additional Measures for Development of Legal Profession in the Republic of Azerbaijan" total, 12,513.90 manats including VAT has been spent. At the same time, 4746.12 manats including VAT has been spent for the proper maintenance of the infrastructure of the administrative building as well as for the provision of computers and other equipment. In overall, 17,260.02 manats was spent on repair of office and purchase of equipment.

Mr.Anar Bagirov, the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Bar Association in his turn, highly appreciated the work done at the bureau and emphasized the importance of increasing lawyers' working conditions as well as improving the logistics of all law offices throughout the Republic. 

In addition, the meeting was held with the participation of lawyers working at the bureau, the management of the Board listened to the problems and suggestions the lawyers and answered their questions.
