Heroic lawyers of the Bar Association

As a result of the 44-day Patriotic War, which began on September 27 under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, our occupied lands have been liberated from the clutches of the enemy.

 

9 members of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan voluntarily took part in our brave and victorious army, which brought this glorious victory to our people. It is noted that during their military operations, our heroic lawyers were released from membership fee by the Presidium of the Bar Association, and their families received monthly financial assistance.

 

The Presidium of the Bar Association has continued to pay special attention and care to these lawyers, and by the decision of their meeting dated 27.01.2021, lawyers who took part in war, Karimov Farhad Azad oglu, a lawyer of the Baku Law Office No. 9, Baku City Lawyer No. 18 Maharramov Elvin Zamin oglu, Jabbarov Mirhasan Miri oglu, lawyer of Baku Law Office No. 19, Panahov Panah Samad oglu, lawyer of Arbitrium Law Office, Jabbarli Polad Arif oglu, head of BM Morisson Law Office, lawyer of Femida Law Office Rauf Nariman oglu, lawyer of Shirvan Regional Law Office Babayev Bakhtiyar Rahim oglu, individual lawyer in Ujar region Majidli Elshan Seyidali oglu and individual lawyer in Gadabay region Samadzade Khayal Natig oglu were awarded with “100th anniversary of Azerbaijan advocacy” anniversary badges. Appropriate assistance will also be provided for their treatment and rehabilitation.

A meeting was held today with the discharged lawyers in accordance with the quarantine rules. At the meeting, Chairman of the Board Anar Bagirov spoke about the historic victory in the Great Patriotic War led by Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, thanked the lawyers for their bravery in the ranks of our brave army and underlined that he was proud of them.

The awarded lawyers also thanked the Bar for the financial assistance provided to their families by the Board during their participation in the war.

Later, the lawyers were presented with badges and a photo was taken.
