On May 16, 2021, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan held the final round of the 10th edition of the National Judicial Competition, jointly organized by the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the European Law Students Association (ELSA Azerbaijan).
 

Opening the event, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Chingiz Asgarov praised the work of the Bar Association in organizing such events, gaining deep knowledge and experience of young people, spoke about the activities of the Supreme Court in this field and the development of youth in the country, informed about the work done in the field.
 

Welcoming the participants, Chairman of the Bar Association Anar Bagirov thanked the leadership of the Supreme Court for their support in organizing the event, noted the interest of the Bar Association in attracting young lawyers, and noted the cooperation with ELSA for several years, "ProDemos - For the People”. He spoke about the jointly project and shared his views on the jointly organization of such useful events on a regular basis.
 

“The Salvatores" and "The Lawspective” teams of Baku State University law students, who qualified for the final stage of the competition, competed in a civil case. The speeches of the sides were evaluated by the judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court, Elshana Valiyeva, Agil Abbasov and Elshad Shamayev.
 

At the end of the event, members of both teams participating in the final stage were awarded certificates and special presents by Chingiz Asgarov and Anar Bagirov.
